Gary Carney, First State Bank of the Florida Keys Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Administration Officer, celebrates his fifth year with the Bank.

Carney joined First State Bank in 2006 as Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Administration Officer, he was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2008. Since his arrival at First State Bank, Carney has streamlined loan processing, strengthened compliance and enhanced customer service standards ensuring faster and easier loan closings for customers while maintaining high asset quality for the Bank.

Carney holds a B.B.A. degree from Kent State University is a graduate of America’s Community Bankers School of Banking and has completed MBA courses in Finance and Accounting.

Carney currently lives in Key West.
