First State Bank of the Florida Keys will partner again with the Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen’s Association (FKCFA) to raise funds for local scholarships at the 8th Annual Seafood Festival to be held on January 19, 2013, from 11:00am-8:00pm at Bayview Park in Key West.

First State Bank's sponsorship includes a cash donation, ATM service, and a team of bank volunteers to assist with serving food, collecting money, and selling raffle tickets at the popular and free local event.

"Many thanks to the First State Bank team for their support of our festival and industry over the years," said Vicki Gale, FKCFA Seafood Festival Event Coordinator. "We appreciate the Bank’s ongoing generosity for the locals of the Keys."

The Florida Keys Seafood Festival is designed to strengthen the local fishing industry by showcasing the tasty local seafood harvested by Keys fishermen. FKCFA also provides scholarships to college bound children of local commercial fishermen.
