First State Bank of the Florida Keys has joined the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and Community Foundation of the Florida Keys (CFFK) to sponsor a professional’s symposium on Philanthropy in the Keys Tuesday, October 18th at the Key Colony Beach Inn at Key Colony Beach from 12pm-4pm.

CPA’s, Attorneys and Non-Profit professionals will benefit from symposium sessions including: Philanthropy in the Keys, Duties and Responsibilities of Not-for-Profit Board Members and a CPE credit session titled Accounting Update for Not-for-Profit Entities.

“As historic local supporters of civic causes Keyswide, First State Bank of the Florida Keys and the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys are the perfect partners for this event,” said Larry Kendzior, CPE Coordinator.

The symposium features professional speakers, John Dolan Heitlinger and Dianna Sutton, a buffet lunch and CPE credit sessions and networking opportunities.
