In honor of Earth Day, Monday April 22nd, First State Bank offices Keyswide will provide complimentary Green Bumper stickers for the community to use to designate residential recycle bins and promote recycling.

Residents can use the green and white "Recycling" stickers to transform almost any container into a recycle bin, as long as they meet the guidelines provided by their recycling collector.

"We originally intended the stickers to serve as a great way to raise funds for local green efforts, then realized they were also a great way to designate alternative recycle bins for the community," said Angie Walterson, First State Bank of the Florida Keys AVP/Public Relations and Communications Manager. "We want to make it easy to be green in the Keys!"

First State Bank takes a leadership role through its "Going Green" community efforts including: energy reduction, reuse, and recycling programs at all Keyswide bank locations; community involvement, education, and sponsorship of green initiatives; and support of local Green organizations and programs.
