First State Bank of the Florida Keys’ Big Pine Assistant Branch Manager Trysh Freehling has joined the Board of Directors for the Big Pine and Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce.

“Trysh dedicates her career and personal life to making the Lower Keys community a better place to work and live,” said Carole Stevens, Big Pine and Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “We are fortunate to have Trysh join our Board.”

Freehling joined the Bank’s Big Pine Branch as a Customer Service Representative and Teller. She was promoted to her current position as Assistant Branch Manager in and was also named First State Bank Employee of the Quarter in 2005.

Freehling lives in Big Pine with her husband.
