First State Bank of the Florida Keys has partnered with Historic Key West Inc. to sponsor a Key West Street Light Banner featuring unique history of the Keys on Duval Street.
Located on the 400 block of Duval Street, the Bank banner spotlights the USS Vandenberg, which First State Bank helped to sink in 2009 to save a reef and raise the economy. The reverse side features the Florida Manatee, in honor of the Bank's iconic mascot "Moolah the Manatee".
"We are confident that the Bank's sponsorship and the addition of the Street Light Banner will provide historical enlightenment and joy for visitors and locals alike as they stroll down the streets of our historic district," said Historic Key West Executive Director Bruce Neff.
