First State Bank of the Florida Keys welcomes veteran local banker Jeff Smith as Senior Vice President/Senior Lender.
Smith brings over 25 years of banking experience, including Branch Operations; Loan Operations; and Commercial, Residential, and Consumer lending, to his new position as head of the Bank's Commercial and Residential Lending team.
A lifetime resident of the Keys, Smith is a graduate of Marathon High School, received a B.A. in Economics from Tulane University, and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School, Florida Bankers Association Supervisors Academy, and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Smith's local civic and community leadership include: Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys, President; Florida Keys Land & Sea Trust, Board Member; and Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce, Past-President.
