First State Bank of the Florida Keys honored three employees for their outstanding community volunteer efforts to local civic causes.
With over 60 hours of combined community service through the second quarter, First State Bank Commercial Loan Processor Jana Kosova, Customer Service Representative and Teller James Todd and Vault/Document Imaging Clerk Celine Ezpeleta each received recognition for their exemplary volunteer service.
Since 1955, First State Bank has actively supported school, civic and the Keys community causes through sponsorships, donations, scholarships and the community service volunteer time of their employees.
In addition to these leaders, First State Bank has sponsored 197 civic and community events, provided 350 volunteers representing over 750 hours to community and local non-profit organizations so far in 2011.
“We are honored to recognize these leaders for their outstanding dedication to our local community,” said Kay Miller, First State Bank Vice President and Human Resources Director. “They personify First State Bank’s historic humanitarian commitment to the community.”
