First State Bank of the Florida Keys' Key West and Lower Keys Relay for Life team raised $4,450 for the American Cancer Society.
"It's heartwarming to see the compassion and generosity of our employees and our local community coming together to make a difference at the annual Relay for Life events," said Karen Sharp, First State Bank President and CEO. "First State Bank is proud of its historic support of the American Cancer Society."
Relay for Life is an overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society. This year's theme was celebrating "100 Years of Survivorship," the Bank's booth featured a 70's era decor.
First State Bank Relay teams Keyswide raise money annually for the Relay event through bake sales, yard sales, car washes, and special employee events. To learn more about supporting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life visit www.relayforlife.org.
