First State Bank Celebrates Anniversaries
  
 Jen Fish Jeff Martindale Shane Briening

First State Bank of the Florida Keys congratulates Jen Fish, Loan Closing Officer on her tenth year and Jeff Martindale, Mailroom Courier and Shane Briening, Credit Analyst II on their fifth year with the Bank.

Jen Fish joined the Bank in 2001 as a Loan Administrative Assistant, was promoted to Loan Systems Analyst/Closing Coordinator in 2003, Loan Closing Supervisor in 2007 and to her current position in 2008. Fish has 18 years banking experience with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Randolph-Macon Women's College, Lynchburg, VA. Fish resides in Key West.

“Jen is an essential part of the Loan Administration Department,” said Gary Carney, First State Bank EVP/Senior Loan Administration Officer. “Her commitment to quality service has made her an outstanding asset to our Bank for the past ten years.”

Jeff Martindale joined First State Bank in 2006 as Mailroom Clerk/Courier. Originally from Trinidad, Martindale has lived in Key West for 14 years. He is an avid volunteer at numerous Bank sponsored community events.

“Jeff is a pleasure to work with,” said Bill Chase, AVP/Facilities Officer. “His bright and cheerful attitude has made him an invaluable employee for the past five years.”

Briening joined First State Bank in 2006 as a Teller at the Main Office and held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Loan Administration Department including; Loan Servicing Specialist and Credit Analyst before being promoted as Credit Analyst II in 2010. Named First State Bank’s Employee of the Quarter in the first quarter 2011, Briening has also completed accredited Risk Management Association (RMA) courses in Financial Statements. Originally from Southern New Jersey, Briening earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional/Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History from East Stroudsburg University. He lives in Key West with his wife.

“Shane’s dedication and tireless energy have been an asset to our Bank over the past five years,” said Michael Monroe, Assistant Vice President & Loan Administration Officer. “We are proud to congratulate him on his milestone anniversary.”
