First State Bank of the Florida Keys honored three employees for their outstanding community volunteer efforts to local civic causes.
With over 60 hours of combined community service through the second quarter, First State Bank Credit Analyst I Jana Kosova, Lead Teller Diancy Fundora, and Courier Frank Slavin each received recognition for their exemplary volunteer service.
Since 1955, First State Bank has actively supported school, civic, and Keys community causes through sponsorships, donations, scholarships, and the community service volunteer time of their employees.
With the support of these leaders, First State Bank has sponsored 129 civic and community events, and provided 338 volunteers representing over 676 hours to community and local non-profit organizations so far in 2013.
"We are honored to recognize these leaders for their outstanding dedication to our local community," said Kay Miller, First State Bank VP/Human Resources Director. "They personify First State Bank's 'locals helping locals' philosophy."
