First State Bank of the Florida Keys raffle winner Harolyn Kieeney chose Stanley Switlick Elementary School as the recipient of a $125 donation from the Bank as part of United Way’s “Stuff the Bus” Keyswide initiative. First State Bank held the raffle in conjunction with the “Stuff the Bus” program, allowing the winner of the raffle to choose the Monroe County School that receive the donation. “As a valued partner of Monroe County Schools, First State Bank was proud to support the ‘Stuff the Bus’ initiative,” said Lori Bailey, First State Bank of the Florida Keys Vice President/Marathon City Executive. United Way of the Florida Keys, Monroe County School District and local businesses partnered for the three day “Stuff the Bus” campaign, held in Key West, Marathon and Key Largo, which called the community to stuff three buses with back-to-school supplies for needy students in Monroe County. First State Bank booths in Key West and Key Largo supported the “Stuff the Bus” event by giving away popcorn and hosting the raffle. Return to News |
