First State Bank of the Florida Keys is supporting Domestic Abuse Shelter of Monroe County (DAS) at the "A Call To Men," seminar on January 30-31 at the Doubletree Grand Key Resort.

The seminar is a 2-day youth awareness seminar on the cycle of domestic violence designed to train men, women, teens and the community at large to help in shifting social norms that define manhood in our culture, and produce a national movement of men committed to ending violence against women.

"The Bank encourages the education of youth on the issues surrounding the cycle of violence against women, men, and children," said Don Lanman, First State Bank Senior Vice President and Marketing Director. "This type of proactive outreach may help modify behavior for a new generation of our youth."
