First State Bank Congratulates Golembeski

First State Bank of the Florida Keys is pleased to congratulate Karen Golembeski, Lending Compliance Officer, on her fifth year with the Bank.

Golembeski joined First State Bank in 2010 as Senior Credit Analyst, that year she transferred to Senior Special Asset Analyst, and the following year to Special Assets Manager, and then to her current role as Lending Compliance Officer in 2013.

Dale Celebrates 15 Years with First State Bank

First State Bank congratulates Danielle Dale, Loan Servicing Specialist, on her fifteenth anniversary with the Bank.

Dale began her career with First State Bank in 2000 as a Proof Operator, transferred to Operations Support Representative in 2003, and was promoted to her current role as Loan Servicing Specialist in 2010.

First State Bank Helps Rotary Make A Bang

The Bank was a sponsor for all Keys Rotary Clubs including Key West, Big Pine & Lower Keys, Marathon, and the Upper Keys in support of their individual community firework displays.

The Tom Sawyer Five Star designation is awarded through the Chamber to members who contribute to local education by donating to schools and mentoring students.

First State Bank of the Florida Keys co-hosted the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce’s June Members in Motion event.

The Bank welcomed the Upper Keys business community at the event, which featured an iPad giveaway, 50/50 raffle, food and spirits, food collection for Burton Memorial Food Bank and donations to Center for Independent Living, interactive demonstrations, and mobile/online gifts. The monthly Chamber event allows local business members to network and interact with other local businesses.

FSB and Turtle Hospital to Host Chamber

First State Bank of the Florida Keys and the Turtle Hospital will host the Marathon Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event on Wednesday, June 10th from 5:30-Sunset at the Turtle Hospital located at 2396 Overseas Highway in Marathon.

Working together to welcome the Middle Keys business community, the event will feature tours of the Turtle Hospital and tanks, 50/50 raffles, food and spirits, interactive demonstrations, mobile/online gifts, and live entertainment by local artist, Adrianne.  Admission is free.

Eckstein Joins First State Bank

First State Bank of the Florida Keys welcomes Jon Eckstein as Vice President and Controller for the Bank’s Accounting Department.

Eckstein, who holds a MBA degree in Finance from University of Akron, joins First State Bank with 25 years of accounting and finance experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and member of the American Institute of CPA’s.
