Pelican Adventurers Get to Know Moolah

Students from Poinciana Elementary’s Pelican Adventures toured the main branch of First State Bank of the Florida Keys as part of their summer recreation program. 

 

FSB Helps Key Largo Summer Rec End with a Splash

First State Bank of the Florida Keys recently donated water balloons and other splash toys to the Key Largo School Summer Recreation Program to use at their end of camp celebration.

“First State Bank appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the kids’ wet and wild day,” said Nola Acker, First State Bank Treasury Management Representative II. “We compliment the program’s teachers on their dedication to providing such a fun summer activity. While it was tempting to join in the water works, we did manage to escape without getting soaked.” 

First State Bank’s Casey Wins Award

Shana Casey, First State Bank of the Florida Keys’ Vice President, Lower Keys Senior Manager, was awarded the Terry Miller Memorial Service Above Self Award by the Big Pine and Lower Keys Rotary Club.

With over 35 years in the banking and mortgage industries, Casey joined First State Bank in 1999 as Assistant Vice President, Big Pine Branch Manager. 

Griffin Celebrates 20 Years with First State Bank

Laura Griffin, BSA/Fraud Coordinator, is celebrating her twentieth anniversary with First State Bank of the Florida Keys.

Griffin joined First State Bank as a Teller at the Main Branch in 1997, was promoted to Lead Teller in 1998, Teller/Customer Service Representative/Teller Trainer in 2004, Operations Administrative Assistant in 2006, and to her current role in 2013.  Additionally, she was named an Employee of the Quarter in 2004.

First State Bank’s Goodrich Celebrates 40 Years

Doria Goodrich, First State Bank of the Florida Keys Executive Vice President and Personal Banking Officer, is celebrating forty years with the Bank.

A native of Key West, Doria began her career with First State Bank as a Proof Clerk after graduating from Mary Immaculate High School. During the years that followed, she served in a variety of positions including Customer Service Representative, Lead Teller, Branch Manager and Senior Vice President/Key West Regional Manager before assuming her current position.
