FSB Raises over $18K at Relay for Life!

The FSB Relay for Life Team was at this past weekend's event that took place April 16th at Horace O’Bryant Middle School to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society.

FSB Unleashes Volunteers at Woofstock

First State Bank of the Florida Keys’ volunteers did their part to contribute to the success of Woofstock: A Day of Peace, Paws, and Music.

The Bank provided Mobile ATM service, tents, and volunteers helping to ensure that several pets were adopted by local Upper Keys families at the free event in Islamorada.  The Pet Adoption festival featured contests, demonstrations, music, and vendors. 

FSB Unleashes Support for SPCA

First State Bank of the Florida Keys supported the Florida Keys SPCA at their 9th Annual Spring Social.

The Bank provided a donation, tents, and volunteers to lend a hand.  The Spring Social featured live entertainment and great food, along with silent and live auctions.  All proceeds from the successful event go to the Florida Keys SPCA Building Fund. 

FSB Hits Big at Softball Tournament

First State Bank of the Florida Keys provided volunteers to help at the 7th Annual Marques Butler Memorial Softball Tournament.

The annual tournament’s proceeds benefit the Marques Butler Memorial Scholarship awards at Key West High School.  The scholarships are awarded to 2 college-bound Key West High School student-athletes in Marques Butler’s name. 

FSB Hosts Relay For Life Fundraiser with Aqua Nightclub

First State Bank of the Florida Keys is co-hosting the “Cancer…What a Drag” event at Aqua Nightclub, Saturday March 12thto raise money for American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life

Doors open at 5:30pm and show is from 6pm-8pm, which will be emceed by Beatrix Dixie Queen Mother 32.  Donation for entry, tips from the show, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle will benefit Relay with all proceeds going towards the Bank’s Relay For Life team fundraising efforts.  This is a non-smoking event.

Madruga Celebrates 25 Years at FSB

First State Bank of the Florida Keys congratulates Ani Madruga, Vice President/Commercial and Residential Loan Officer on her twenty-fifth anniversary with the Bank.

Madruga joined First State Bank of the Florida Keys in 1991 as a Loan Processor/ Underwriter and was promoted to Senior Mortgage Loan Processor/Underwriter later that year.  Madruga has held positions in Commercial Loans as a Credit Analyst and Loan Officer and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 1997 and to her current role as Vice President/Commercial and Residential Loan Officer in 2001.

First State Bank of the Florida Keys will sponsor the Keys Area Interdenominational Resources (KAIR) Annual Walk/Run at Sombrero Beach on March 6, 2016.

“First State Bank is always first to step up and help make this local event a success,” said KAIR Board Member Marjorie Roberts.  “We are grateful to have their support to assist local families in need.”

KAIR is a local non-profit organization that provides emergency medical services to residents in the Greater Marathon area who find themselves in crisis.  For more information on KAIR please contact 305-743-4582.

First State Bank of the Florida Keys’ Key West and Lower Keys Relay For Life team raised over $650 for the American Cancer Society at their Yard Sale, Car Wash, and Plant Sale held at the Bank’s Boulevard office.
