FSB Helps Key West Fire Department

First State Bank of the Florida Keys donated over 60 reusable grocery bags to the Key West Fire Department to help them Go Green. Firefighters from all three Key West stations visit the grocery store regularly to purchase supplies for their shifts. These bags will go a long way towards helping to reduce the department’s environmental footprint and set a great example for eco-friendly best practices.

FSB helps out at Pigeon Key!

Our volunteers at the 24th Annual Pigeon Key Art Festival on February 4th. The event offers art and historical elements, entertainment, and children’s activities with educational programming, highlighting the Pigeon Key Foundation’s important preservation, research and marine biology projects.

FSB Helps "Stuff the Bus!"

First State Bank’s Islamorada team gathers donations for United Way’s “Stuff the Bus”.  First State Bank branches promoted and collected items for “Stuff the Bus”, a three day campaign for the community to stuff local buses with back-to-school supplies for needy students in Monroe County.


First State Bank Dances through the Decades

First State Bank of the Florida Keys is supporting the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Charitable Foundation’s (CWBSF) “Dancing through the Decades” fundraiser to be held September 10th at the Islander Resort in Islamorada.

The event will feature classic music from the 50’s through the millennium, costume prizes, and table vignettes from each decade to allow guests to take a stroll down memory lane.

Fitzsimmons Named FSB Employee of the Quarter

Sarah Fitzsimmons, First State Bank of the Florida Keys’ Financial Analyst, was named the Bank’s Employee of the Quarter.

Fitzsimmons, who joined the Bank in 2012, was recognized by her fellow employees for her initiative, proficiency, and great attitude in the workplace.  She is a Key West native, graduate of Key West High School, and holds a degree in Finance and Economics Florida Gulf Coast University.

FSB To Issue New Debit Cards

First State Bank of the Florida Keys recently launched new debit cards with a new card brand, new benefits and services, and, for the first time since its original Cash Cow ATM card launch, a new design for their personal cards.
