Larson and Henriquez Celebrate 25 Years with First State Bank

First State Bank of the Florida Keys congratulates Susan Larson, Senior Vice President, Regulatory Compliance and BSA Officer, and Lori Henriquez, Loan Servicing Supervisor, on their twenty-fifth anniversaries with the Bank.


Larson started at First State Bank in 1992 as an Assistant Vice President and Senior Accounting Officer and due to her hard work and professional knowledge was promoted to Vice President and Controller in 1999.  Larson took the role of Vice President and BSA/AML Compliance Officer in 2006 and was responsible for developing the BSA/AML department from the ground up.  In 2011, she was promoted to her current role.  She is an active member of the Audit, ALCO, BSA, and Fraud Committees for First State bank.


Larson received her B.A. in English from The University of Texas at Arlington and her M.B.A. from Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky. 


Henriquez started at First State Bank in 1992 as a Loan Operations Clerk, promoted to Customer Loan Assistant in 1996, and to Consumer Loan Processor/Closer in 2000.  She was promoted to her current role as Supervisor in 2006.


Henriquez is a graduate of Key West High School and studied at Florida Keys Community College and Florida State University.
